Effectively, they are 25% to 35% cheaper than private condominum and you are also eligible for CPF housing grants. Enjoying the premium facilities of a private condo which is considered private after 10 years.
However, applicants will have to have an income ceiling of $16,000 and it is not eligible for HDB loan hence, you will need to pay at least 25% of downpayment in cash/CPF. The minimum occupation period (MOP) is 5 years.
Executive Condominium home owners can only sell their executive condo to Singaporeans and Singapore PRs after 5 years and to foreigners after 10 years.
